I honestly don’t remember very well. I believe it had something to do with an acquaintance who had baked too many lemon-meringue pies for a party and ended up with an impressive excess afterwards.

Well, allow me to tell you a brief story….

Palkia and I didn’t always have sibling rivalry, but once it had begun, it quickly became intense. We would compete in just about everything, from races to eating contests to who could balance a lemon-meringue pie on the head of a sleeping Scyther.

One time, Palkia convinced me to play a game called rock-paper-scissors with him. The rules were very simple, so we began immediately - but when Palkia continued to win again and again, I felt embarrassed and turned back time so that I would be the one to win next time. However, no matter how many times I reversed time, Palkia continued to win and win.

Eventually, I realized that the reason he was winning was because I, with my short and inflexible claws, was utterly incapable of playing anything other than “rock”.

…Needless to say, that was not one of the most intelligent activities I have agreed to.
